The chest carries a full-colour scene built in three tiers. Two eagles lock talons at the top, wings spread wide against a fork of blue lightning. A stampede breaks beneath them — black, chestnut and bay horses running hard through the dust. Below that, a vintage red convertible pushes forward out of the churn, headlights lit, chrome catching what light there is. The Klaks oval stamp sits at the left edge, weathered and off-set, like a mark pressed onto the plate after the fact.
The print is worked into the waffle rather than laid over it: pigment sinks between the raised ribs, breaks across the texture, and wears down the way a decades-old press run does. No plastic hand, no flat sheet — it moves with the cloth.
